Reviance Portland Covid 19 News

Réviance is open on a limited part time basis – May 12th, 2002

We are happy to announce that most weekdays a staff member will be answering phones vs. our answering service! One small step in a positive direction as we slowly transition into being open full time. We don’t know how long “getting back to normal” will take, as we continue to comply with Governor Kate Brown’s plan to reopen the state. Currently, we are open for administration purposes most weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm.

Appointments will be made on a case by case basis and our staff injectionist, Julie, is accepting Botox and dermal filler appointments. We thank you for your patience and understanding knowing we are all in this together. Continue to stay safe and healthy and we look forward to seeing you all, hopefully in the near future.

Our COVID19 reopening plan. Changes you will need to be aware of at your next appointment.

NEW OFFICE PROTOCOL-

• Our office will communicate with you before-hand to ask some screening questions and when you arrive.
• Be sure and wear a mask/bandana; it’s mandatory until we take your temperature and advise otherwise.
• We will take you directly to a treatment room. There is a sink in the room. You may wash your hands before you sit down.
• If you prefer, you can call us from your car in the parking lot and we can confirm if we are ready for you to come in.
• We are making appointments longer than normal to allow for social distancing.
• Please call our office with your payment method in advance in order to limit personal contact. We will need it on file before you come in

We are trying to provide you with the best safety protocols and appreciate your patience and understanding. If you feel you are experiencing COVID19 symptoms or have been exposed DO NOT come in and call us immediately.

Patient information update for April 13th to April 30th, 2020.

Continuing to Comply- Office Closure April 13th-April 30th

We are currently closed and will continue to comply with Governor Kate Brown’s order to cease all non-emergency procedures and social distancing until April 30th. We will keep you updated as our closure status changes. We hope there will be good news soon and we can get back to work and see your smiling faces!

Below, you will see frequently asked questions and answers that will help direct you to the proper resources.

What now and what does this mean regarding a cancelled appointment and scheduling a new one?

We will be calling and rescheduling appointments as soon as we have solid information on the status and restrictions placed upon private practices. Cancelled appointments due to COVID 19 restrictions have a tracking code that will allow us to prioritize patient rescheduling. We know this is inconvenient but due to the current circumstances, we are doing the best we can. Once the national emergency has passed, we will be able to move patients up, so please let us know if you would like to be on a wait-list. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are ill and encourage everyone to be safe, use common sense and wash your hands.

** If you are currently scheduled for a surgical procedure we will call you to discuss your options.

VIP Membership status and monthly auto payment. Am I still being charged?

No. You are not being charged. VIP auto payments have been suspended. VIP member status will stay the same. You will not lose your membership or its perks! Your monthly auto payment has been “suspended” as of March 19th and will not be activated until you come in for your next appointment. For those of you who were charged for the month of March and did not receive a treatment, your monthly payment has been refunded. If we have to reschedule your appointment due to current circumstances, we will call you at the end of each week for the following week. Thank you for understanding and being patient with this process.

If I need assistance and you’re closed, what can I do?

For urgent issues, please call our office (503) 953-1230 and the answering service will direct your call to the appropriate personnel. You may also direct non-urgent questions and concerns to [email protected] We will be working from home and will be checking email on a daily basis and will be updating patient information on our website’s home page in order to keep you informed. If you would like information on the procedures and treatments we do, please email us. We are more than happy to discuss what we may be able to help you with.

WE WILL DO OUR PART-Announcing Office Closure – 3/19/2020

We will be complying with Governor Kate Brown’s new order to cease all non-emergency procedures and preserve personal protective equipment (PPE), such as surgical masks, gowns, and gloves, for health care workers treating COVID-19 patients. In order to comply, we will be closed the week of March 23 – March 27, 2020. Unfortunately, Botox and cosmetic procedures don’t classify as an emergency…even though some of you, including myself, may disagree. This is said with a humorous intent due to the serious nature of our national-global dilemma. We are eager to comply if it means by preserving or donating these resources, it will help those in need and slow down the course of this virus.

What now and what does this mean regarding a cancelled appointment and scheduling a new one?

We will be calling and rescheduling next week’s appointments. Once the national emergency has passed, we will be able to move up patients so please let us know if you would like to be on a wait-list. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are ill and encourage everyone to be safe, and wash your hands. ** If you are currently scheduled for a procedure we will call you to discuss options

Suspending Office Treatments and Services – 3/18/2020

Dr. James Chan and Reviance Portland would like to thank you for entrusting us with your care. With concern for the health of our patients, employees, and community, we have decided to pause non-essential patient encounters with our office. We have suspended all facial treatments with our estheticians for the remainder of the week (March 20, 2020). We are monitoring the situation constantly, and will continue to provide updates. If you are a member of our VIP facial program, we will work with you to credit your treatment or refund your monthly payment. Please be patient with us as we work through this with you.

We will remain available for urgent appointments, and currently are available for consults, scheduled surgeries and treatments on a limited, case by case basis. Our main priority is the safety of our patients and will work to ensure that all patients who are seeking treatment can do so safely. If you are scheduled to have a procedure or surgery, please call to confirm your appointment

Sincerely, Dr. James Chan and Reviance Portland Staff
