Brow Lift Portland
A brow lift helps with overall rejuvenation of the forehead and upper eyelid area. With a brow lift, Dr. Chan can help you restore a more youthful look by smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles around the forehead and eyebrows.
Am I a Good Candidate for a Brow Lift?
Browlift patients should be in overall good physical and mental health. If you have noticed any of the following cosmetic concerns, a brow lift may be the solution for you.
- Sagging, low positioning of the eyebrows
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Horizontal creases across the forehead
Before & After
How is a Brow Lift Performed?
Dr. Chan utilizes multiple techniques for brow lifts depending on the severity of the condition. Commonly he performs an endoscopic browlift which uses small incisions in the hairline that provide access to the forehead area so that endoscopes can be used to perform the procedure. In some patients, a temporal browlift where only the tail of the brow is lifted can be performed. Finally, some patients are candidates for a direct browlift where incisions are made in the natural wrinkles of the forehead to achieve a natural and lasting lift. The standard coronal browlift where an incision is made above the hairline or immediately in front of the hairline from ear to ear can also be performed and provides the best approach for accessing wrinkles between your eyebrows. The entire procedure takes approximately one hour.

What Can I Expect After a Brow Lift?
Bruising and swelling are normal following a brow lift, however this should subside after about a week. It is important to carefully follow all of Dr. Chan’s post-operative instructions to avoid instructions and shorten healing time.
