About Us

Réviance® Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Center specializes in minimally invasive plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures including facelifts, rhinoplasties, blepharoplasties, and reconstructive surgery for facial fractures, lacerations and skin cancer defects.

Réviance was originally founded in 2008 in the San Francisco Bay Area by Dr. James Chan, Dr. Jeffrey Pollard, and Dr. Vish Banthia. All three surgeons trained at Stanford University and worked together at a competing national plastic surgery practice. They gained a tremendous amount of surgical experience, collectively performing over 3,000 procedures. More importantly, they felt that the overall patient experience was as important, so they started Réviance with the goal of providing unparalleled patient care along with expert surgical care to give patients the best outcomes.

In 2009, Dr. James Chan relocated to Portland, Oregon to be closer to family. He brought with him his expertise in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and has helped develop Réviance where he serves as the medical director.

In 2023, Dr. Haena Kim joined Reviance after practicing for many years in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Dr. James Chan and Dr. Haena Kim are both double board-certified facial plastic surgeons and focus on aesthetic and reconstructive procedures for the face, head, and neck. Because they specializes only on the face, head, and neck they are able to provide unparalleled results.
